Gili Trawangan Experience
Gili T is located 2 hours East of Bali by boat. These tropical islands are just off the coast of Lombok and offer some of the best hidden surf in Indonesia.
The Gili islands are beautiful but not quite as consistant as some of the other locations around Indonesia.
With that said...when it's on in Gili, IT'S ON! The waves can get to be double or triple overhead and you'll rarely find more than 3-5 locals surfing this spot.
The locals here are some of the best surfers you'll find in Indonesia and one of my favourite spots to head if you want to escape the hussle of Bali beaches.
